Ingredients:

  • 2 cups green beans
  • 1 pinch salt

Steps:

  1. Rinse beans in water and cut the ends off.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. 
  3. Put the beans in the pot, all at once, and let them boil for 7-8 minutes.
  4. Remove the beans and put them directly into another pot of cold water (this stops the cooking process and set the colour).
  5. Drain and shake out the water, then serve.
