2015 Summer Update Post – 1st Edition
This is the post you have all been waiting for!! First off we’d like to say thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of the program for the last year. It is incredible how much progress everyone made and we could not be more excited to announce that we are going to be continuing to run the gym for another year and have a ton of exciting changes.
This one is going to get a bit long so feel free to skip to the sections which are most relevant to you!

Schedule Going Forward
*Please note this is a first draft based on the feedback we received. If this does not work for you please let us know!
**The changes worth noting to the following schedule are morning sessions now start 30 minutes later, noon sessions are 3x/week, and the gym will be open for 1 hour of Open Gym on Sundays.
6:30-7:30am – CrossFit
7:30-8:30am – CrossFit
12-1pm – CrossFit (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
4:30-5:30pm – CrossFit
5:30-6:30pm – CrossFit
6:30-7:30pm – Open Gym
9-10am – CrossFit
10-11am – Weightlifting
11am-12pm – Open Gym
2-3pm – Open Gym
*We are likely going to be offering a Barbell WOD training/Olympic Lifting time as well but are in the process of figuring out the timing for it.
This is one of the most exciting changes for us to announce. Over the next few weeks we are going to be unveiling a number of new specialty programs, introductory programs, personal training and modifications to the CrossFit session structure.
The specialty sessions include targeted mobility, gymnastics, and strength WODs. If you are looking to improve a specific weak area, or wish to one focus on one discipline then stay tuned for these programs. For this week we are going to be only running the regular CrossFit sessions and then will be implementing the programs after that.
We are going to be offering an introductory training program within the next few weeks which will aim to better assimilate members into the regular CrossFit training. Stay tuned for more details on this but it should be a huge improvement for the programs on the whole.
For the CrossFit sessions we are now offering both a Fitness and Competition aspect which will train at the same time during the “CrossFit” session times. In order to be eligible for the Competition training program you must complete specific tests in front of a coach, if you think you may be eligible please talk to us for more details. We will be posting more about this along with the standards over the next week.
Finally, we are going to be offering thorough personal training options which are for individuals wishing to work more on a specific skill with one of our coaches, or individuals who wish to train outside of the regularly scheduled group times. Please contact us for more details.
Pricing Changes and Referral Program for the Summer
We have modified our pricing structure in order to allow us to better operate the gym which unfortunately means increasing the prices. In addition to this we have modified the membership options to make the sign-up and billing simpler. The major changes to be aware of are that we are now offering only 1-Month and 3x/week memberships. We are going to be better utilizing our member software and switching everyone over to more online payments so please bear with us as we get that set-up. The new pricing is listed below.
1 Month Membership = $130/month
3x/week Membership = $115/month
10 Class Pack = $150
Drop-In = $20
*First drop-in is always free, if you are in town for multiple days or weeks shoot us an email and we will get you situated with a temporary membership.
1 Month Membership = $100/month
3x/week Membership = $85/month
*Prices do not include HST.
**Apply a 10% discount to all membership options if you sign-up for the full year in advance.
***Married couples, military, fire, police, EMT – 13% (we cover your taxes).
****Discounts not valid with a student membership.

-Online Sign-Ups and Sign-In: we will be implementing online-signups and sign-ins for sessions so we can better track attendance and ensure that sessions do not get crowded. This will be phased in over the next few weeks, more info to follow.
